Commercial Rubber Flooring

Depending on your individual needs, there are several types of commercial rubber flooring.  Your choice of rubber flooring will depend on the  type of use, environment and budget.

Here are a few possible commercial flooring solutions:

  • Commercial matting – These types of mats are divided into two groups: indoor and outdoor.     Commercial indoor mats are used to protect interior floors from dirt and humidity.  These mats are usually available in a wider range of colors to allow for greater coordination with interior decorations.  Outdoor mats are usually more resistant, low maintenance, with aggressive scraping characteristics designed to leave as much soil and moisture as possible outside.  Inside entrance mats are one of the more popular products in this category.  These mats are designed to absorb, contain and conceal as much dirt and water as possible, preventing it from entering your showroom, store or office.  Along with keeping your business more attractive to the eye, these mats will reduce the possibility of slips and injuries to customers and employees.  Some of these entrance mats are designed to absorb more than one gallon of water per square yard.
  • Carpet tiles -  Carpet tiles are both durable and attractive.  They absorb water, scrape dirt off of shoes, and are very resistant to heavy foot traffic.   Carpet tiles come in a variety of patters, fibers and textures.   Carpet tiles are ideal for a variety of situations, including lobbies,  hallways, elevators and retail stores, just to give a few examples.  Carpet tiles come in many different colors, and some even resemble luxury carpets.   You will find that carpet tiles are available to suit just about any need.
  • Soft flooring – Soft flooring is both comfortable and affordable, and is ideal for residential, commercial or even industrial rubber flooring.   Soft flooring is made of a lightweight, soundproof and shock absorbent rubber.  This type of flooring is especially suited for gyms, aerobic studios and children´s areas.    Soft flooring is also used for all kinds of mats: gym mats, yoga mats, exercise mats and more.  This versatile rubber flooring is usually available in more than 10 colors, and its use is only limited by your imagination.  Soft flooring tiles are usually 2 square feed and 5/8 of an inch thick.  The tiles are interlocking and of easy application.   Instead of solid colors, certain manufacturers make these tiles in a finish that will resemble hard wood floors.
